Exercise Physiology

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university qualified allied health professionals who specialise in the delivery of exercise and lifestyle modification programs for people with chronic conditions and healthy populations. Accredited Exercise Physiologists are differentiated from other allied health professions by the possession of extensive knowledge, skills and experience in clinical exercise delivery and health behaviour modification counselling for people with chronic diseases.
AEPs treat and assist with the management of a broad range of conditions, including:

  • Arthritis
  • Obesity
  • Cancer
  • Depression
  • Osteoporosis
  • Dysmetabolic Syndrome

  • A history of sedentary behaviours
  • Difficulty maintaining motivation and adherence
  • Physical restrictions or mobility issues
  • Co-morbid conditions

If eligible, you may claim on services through Medicare, DVA, Workcover or Health Funds.

Exercise Physiology calls on the latest evidence based research to manage injury and alleviate pain. At Studio 4 we use movement analysis, manual therapy and targeted exercises to get you moving pain free! Our Physiotherapists specialises in workplace, spinal and sports injuries. We also offer a specialised service for runners and cyclists. Using video analysis to examine running style and biomechanical data to assess bike set-up, we will help you improve your performance and decrease your risk of injury. This service is available to everyone from athletes to enthusiasts.
