A rehabilitation focused gym for long term strength and movement
Higher Ground Fitness supports your transition from guided rehab into confident, sustainable strength with professional support and a welcoming environment.
More Than a Gym
Higher Ground Fitness was created to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and independent training. This is not a commercial gym built around pressure or performance. It is a space designed to help people move well, build confidence and maintain strength for the long term.
Designed to support rehabilitation and long term health
Closely connected with Studio 4 Injury Rehab
Programs designed by physiotherapists and exercise physiologists
A calm, inclusive environment focused on progress, not pressure
Here, movement is purposeful. Progress is steady. Support is always close by.
From Injury Rehabilitation to Independent Strength Training
Many of our members begin their journey with physiotherapy or exercise physiology. As confidence grows, their program transitions into structured gym based training designed specifically for this space.
Your pathway may look like this:
Begin with physiotherapy or exercise physiology
Move into guided exercise programs designed for Higher Ground Fitness
Build confidence through structured training and small group classes
Maintain strength and movement long term

Personal Training
Looking for structured support in the gym without ongoing physiotherapy or exercise physiology appointments?
Our Personal Trainer offers one on one coaching designed to help you build confidence, follow a steady program and stay accountable. This option suits members who want clear direction and regular guidance within the gym environment.
Personal Training is focused on general strength, fitness and progression. It is not designed for rehabilitation, but it can be a practical and accessible way to maintain consistency and build long term confidence.

FAQs
Do I need to be seeing a physio to join?
No. While many members work alongside physiotherapists or exercise physiologists, it is not required to join.
Are classes suitable for beginners?
Yes. Many of our group fitness classes are designed with progression and accessibility in mind.
Can I train independently?
Yes. Members can follow their own strength programs or complete exercises prescribed by allied health practitioners.
How do programs work with memberships?
Exercise programs are prescribed separately through physiotherapy or exercise physiology appointments. Membership provides access to the space and classes to complete that work consistently.
