Exercise Physiologist
I have a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Growing up with sporting background in Rugby Union, Rugby League and touch football, I have learnt the importance of ensuring our bodies are looked after to ensure general health, performance and injury management. This inspired me to pursue a career in using individualised exercises as a gateway in managing conditions/injuries and lifestyle modifications. When I graduated, I completed my certificates for both matwork and equipment pilates. I learnt how Pilates can be applicable to any population through strength, stability, flexibility and correct movement techniques.
When not at Studio 4 I coach Crossfit, which allows me to transfer my knowledge of olympic and power lifting, gymnastics and general strength and conditioning to clients at the studio. I use a mixture Pilates methods and functional movements to guide clients through their goals. Some of my other interests include athletic populations, women’s health, mental health.
